Our Story

Meet The Team

Welcome from the

Feathers Team

Supported by a team of volunteers and staff, we offer a range of expertise to help women to create a brighter future

We are women supporting women, and many of our volunteers and team have benefitted from Feathers Future’s help in the past, so we have a breadth of experience and are here to support our ladies and make a positive difference.

Over the years, we have created enjoyable small groups, including drop-in sessions, counselling, domestic abuse tool kit, Feathers Friends, classes and groups, a book club and art sessions.

Futures Trustees

Feathers Futures is governed by our Board of Trustees who are all volunteers. The trustees have ultimate responsibility for our vision, performance and strategy. They meet regularly to discuss our governance and operations. Meet our trustees.

Welcome to

Feathers House

In March 2023, with the help of our local wonderful community, the Feathers Futures team were delighted to move into Feathers House, located just off Hall Quay, Great Yarmouth.

With the growing need for supporting women in Great Yarmouth the larger premises have enabled the charity to help even more women. Feathers House has also helped us expand activities through our series of warm, friendly rooms for one to one sessions alongside larger rooms for crafts, workshops and activities complete with an inviting kitchen area, our Hub.

Feathers House was aptly opened on International Women’s day and all rooms are named after inspirational women throughout history.

There is lots of easy to access parking on the roads nearby and the nearest carpark is on Howards Street, NR30 1LH
