Toiletries Bank
We run a toiletries bank at Feathers House to help support women with everyday essentials when things feel a bit tight or difficult. You are very welcome to come in and collect items such as:
- Shower gel
- Shampoo and conditioner
- Deodorant
- Toothpaste and toothbrushes
- Period products
- Other toiletries, depending on donations
The toiletries bank is offered in a gentle, caring, and non-judgemental way, there’s no need to explain your circumstances or feel embarrassed about asking for help. You can simply pop in, choose what you need, and leave knowing you’ve been met with kindness and understanding.
This service is here to ease some of the financial pressure many women face and to make sure no one has to go without basic essentials that help them feel clean, comfortable, and cared for. If you feel unsure about coming in, you’re very welcome to speak to a member of staff first or visit alongside one of our groups or Drop-In sessions if that feels easier.
The Toiletries Bank is open at Feathers House:
Monday to Friday, 9:30–12:00 and 1:00–3:00.
